Course Description
The best place to start once you’ve made the decision to ride. Covers the basics of operating a motorcycle and safety-oriented mental strategies. Motorcycles, are provided for your use however, you will be required to bring a DOT compliant helmet, eye protection and full fingered motorcycle gloves. This is a two day course which includes classroom, range, plus knowledge and skill tests. The course will require the completion of an eCourse (online course) which must be completed prior to attending class. The eCourse is free for Military and will receive a code once registered for a class (confirmed and standby). You must bring the eCourse certificate to first day of class. Certificate is good for 30 days, if hands on class is taken after 30 days of certificate completion date, the eCourse must be retaken. For walk-in students you will have till the end of the 2nd day of class to complete the eCourse and turn in your certificate to your course instructor.
You will not receive your BRC card and any completed course documentation unless you successfully complete the 2 day BRC class and eCourse.
Course Requirements
All courses require students to provide their own PPE to include:
- DOT compliant helmet and eye protection
- Sturdy over-the-ankle footwear (motorcycle boots preferred)
- Long-sleeved shirt (motorcycle jacket preferred)
- Sturdy pants (motorcycle riding pants preferred)
- Full-fingered motorcycle gloves
